Compare Frogs

   Frogs and toads are amphibians. They lay their eggs in water. Frog and toad tadpoles live in the water until they have grown their front and back legs.

Frogs live near or in the water.

Toads live on land and lay their eggs in water. Toads have drier skin with bumps.

Frogs have smooth skin. Frogs have long legs for hopping.

Toads have short legs for walking.

All toads are frogs but not all frogs are toads. }
